I grew up in North Essex, completing a Graphic Design and Illustration course at Colchester School of Art, then went on to study Advertising and Graphics at Hounslow, London. I worked as a magazine designer firstly and went on to Art direct and launch several magazines. I feel very lucky that I'm able to 'colour in' and 'move words' for a living. At the time of attending Art College I was fortunate to be guided by passionate dedicated artists and designers who changed my life for the better in more ways than they'll ever know.
Not long after leaving college I was invited to join Shoot magazine at IPC media under the guidance of Stan Macdonald (a wise man, who taught me alot, thank you Stan). I enjoyed 13 good years, working my way to the position of Group Art Editor of Golf Monthly and Women and Golf titles.
In 2003 I quietly launched my own design company, keen to to have more variety in my design, magazines were my core but soon came advertising work, brochures and photography.
